Liquid Leveler was built to remove that tradeoff rather than just improve it — it’s a true water-based sanding lubricant enhanced with NANO abrasives, designed to replace water entirely as the sanding lubricant during the P3000 wet-sanding refinement step.

What NANO Abrasives Actually Do

The core of Liquid Leveler is its NANO abrasive content — tiny, bubble-shaped abrasive particles suspended in the lubricant itself. As you sand, these particles assist directly in the refining process, increasing sanding performance during the P3000 wet-sanding stage. The practical result is that Liquid Leveler doesn’t just lubricate the surface — it actively contributes to the cut, which is why it can eliminate steps that would otherwise be necessary.

What It Eliminates

Because Liquid Leveler’s NANO abrasives boost refining performance during the P3000 step, it removes the need to progress to P5000 or higher grits to reach an acceptable finish. It also eliminates the need for heavy rubbing compounds afterward — the refining work that would normally require a separate compounding stage is handled during the sanding step itself. For a shop running production volume, cutting both a grit stage and a compounding stage out of the workflow is a meaningful productivity gain, not just a marginal one.

How to Apply It

Shake well before use, then spray Liquid Leveler directly onto the area to be sanded — it replaces water as the lubricant for both wet and dry sanding. Work one area at a time, roughly 2' x 2', using slow, overlapping back-and-forth motions to remove heavy scratches. Once scratches are removed, wipe off excess product with a clean microfiber towel before moving to the next section.

Liquid Leveler can be used with a DA palm sander or worked by hand, giving it flexibility across different tools and job sizes. Because it’s a true water-based formula, it’s water-soluble, making cleanup straightforward compared to solvent-based sanding lubricants.

Storage and Handling

Keep Liquid Leveler from freezing and store it at room temperature — as with LP1, freezing will compromise the water-based formula. Always review the Safety Data Sheet before use.
