Alpha Leveling Discs: Built for Heavy Removal

Alpha is the aggressive end of the lineup. It’s constructed with TiVFe self-sharpening ceramic abrasive — a true FEPA-standard ceramic grit that cuts faster and lasts significantly longer than conventional abrasive grains. Paired with EAP Technology, which aligns each individual grain in a uniform pattern across the disc, Alpha delivers the most consistent scratch pattern available at this level of aggression.

Alpha’s multi-hole design is a meaningful detail here, not just a manufacturing choice — it’s built for serious dust extraction, which matters most exactly where Alpha is meant to be used: heavy stock removal on wood, body filler, steel, aluminum, carbon fiber, and paint stripping. Omega Discs: Built for Refining and Leveling

Omega is the other half of the equation — designed for the surface-leveling and refining stage that comes after heavy material removal is done. Instead of a coated abrasive bonded the conventional way, Omega uses a latex-base film that bonds abrasive to the inlay in an unstructured pattern. That unstructured material is more durable and flexible than the multi-layered film products common in the industry, and it produces a more consistent, even scratch pattern that’s easier to refine out in the next step.

Every Omega disc is built with Coaster Coating Technology — a silicone-free, anti-clog coating that creates a ball-bearing effect on the working surface. That effect allows air to flow between the disc and the surface, forming micro-vacuums that pull sanded debris out and away instead of letting it clog the disc. The result: working time extended by up to 80% before a disc change is needed, and a dry, all-sanding system with no water required.

How They Work Together

In practice, these two systems are often used in sequence: Alpha discs handle the heavy lifting — removing paint, filler, or rough material fast — and Omega discs come in afterward to level and refine that surface into a clean, consistent scratch pattern ready for the next stage (priming, coating, or final polish).
